Voters in Nether Providence’s 2nd ward are reminded that you will be voting on Tuesday in the high school gym, which is on the Providence Road side of the high school. The gym is wheelchair accessible.
Parking will only be available at the Providence Road entrance; there will be no parking or access to the school on the Brookhaven Road side.

Reminder to new residents, 18-year olds, and other new participants in the political process: March 24, 2008 is the deadline to register to vote in what is shaping up to be a historic opportunity for Democratic voters to play a decisive role in choosing the Democratic nominee. You can register on-line 0r print out a registration form at the PA Department of State web site.

Public swearing-in ceremonies are coming up on January 7, 2008 for our recently elected officials.
Magisterial District Judge Stephanie Klein will be sworn in for her third term at 3:00 that day. (Ceremony to take place in the ceremonial courtroom of the main courthouse in Media, 2nd floor.)
Nether Providence Township Commissioner Frank Noyes and Commissioner-elect Matthew C. Sullivan will be sworn in at 7:30 that evening at the Township building, Sykes Avenue.
With results from the 4th ward, we’re finishing up our posts of raw numbers for the evening.
